Michael Vick Signs Plea Agreement

Michael Vick signed his plea agreement and Statement of Facts earlier today. In it, he admitted guilt to everything, despite a report from ESPN released Thursday night saying that he will not admit to gambling or that he actually participated in the killing of any dogs.

This report turned out to be mostly false. Vick did admit that "the enterprise", made up of all three of the co-defendants, including Vick, took part in the killings of six to eight dogs. The statement also says that Vick did not directly gamble on any of the fights. However, he did provide the funds for all of the gambling, and divided the winnings among the rest of the group.

Vick will be officially filing these papers Monday morning as scheduled, at which time the judge will set his sentencing date.

After the release, Roger Goodell has suspended Michael Vick indefinitely, which really isn't too big of a shock as this was his best move. Now Goodell has the luxury to wait and see how Vick's legal troubles will play out.

Here is the story and make sure to check out Pro Football Talks coverage of the case, as they have had solid coverage of this from the beginning and add details you might miss from just reading the articles on ESPN or other places.
