Browns luck continues...

The Cleveland Browns' poor offseason luck continued today as LB Willie McGinest had back surgery for a "bulging disc" and should miss six weeks. He will be day-to-day after that. The 13 year veteran is the cornerstone of the Browns' linebacking corps, and they will miss him dearly.

LeCharles Bentley still can't play.

Brady Quinn still can't throw. Reports from Browns training camp are that Brady couldn't complete a pass if they paid him. And they did. Overthrowing nearly every reciever, he quickly reneged on his statement made yesterday. When asked on Wednesday if he would be the starter by the end of the season, his reply was "Without a doubt." This on Quinn's first day of camp, where he worked exclusively with the scout team. His second day of camp had him still with the scout team, and the passes were not pretty. The quote of the day from Brady was "You're seeing a guy that hasn't been in camp for 2 1/2 weeks."

Yeah, I'm drinking the haterade.
