Before you get excited about Quinn's performance...

Ok, so Brady Quinn had a strong debut with the Browns in their pre-season loss to the Lions. He went 13/20 for 155 yards and 2 touchdown tosses. All of that happened in the fourth quarter, which means Quinn was throwing against the backups to the backups of one of the worst defenses in the NFL last year. This is a defense that in 2006 came in 28th overall in the NFL, and 30th in points allowed per game.

So before you wet your pants over this guy, remember that this is the pre-season, and it was the Lions. If Quinn can do it against a team that doesn't suck, then you may begin to get excited.

Then again, if you are a Browns fan, you need to get excited over something. So you can wet your pants. We wont think less of you.
