Giants catch the injury bug in loss to the Cowboys

Eli Manning shockingly looked good in their loss to the Cowboys Sunday night. I'm sure it's easier when you have Plaxico Burress running wild in the Cowboys secondary, catching three touchdowns on the night. But still, Eli did make the throws.

That was about the only positive thing to come out of that game. They lost to their division rivals, and their defense looked awful, giving up four touchdown passes and two touchdowns on the ground also.

But they also suffered from injuries to key players. Brandon Jacobs, Eli Manning, and Osi Umenyiora all left the game early and did not finish. Jacobs and Umenyiora injured their knees, but there is no word yet on how seriously they were injured. Manning apparently bruised his right shoulder on a failed two point conversion. After throwing another TD pass to Burress, he said it tightened up and they didn't want to risk him getting hurt.
