Buffalo Bills player in ICU after four hour surgery

Bills tight end Kevin Everett is sedated and is in the ICU at Buffalo's Millard Fillmore Gates Hospital after being injured during a special teams play against the Broncos Sunday. While making the tackle, Everett slammed his head against the other players shoulder. Everett dropped to the ground, and did not move again.

Trainers and team doctors worked on him for several minutes on the field, before bringing an ambulance out on the field and transporting him to the hospital.

He will be sedated for the next 24-48 hours. Until then the doctors wont be able to know if he is paralyzed, or how severely he is paralyzed.
